Amin graduated from the M.S. program at the University of Arkansas on May 2016 with additional Information Assurance certificate. His M.S. study was sponsored by Fulbright scholarship program from the United States Dept. of State. He was working with Dr. Qinghua Li for his M.S. thesis on Exploring Privacy Leakage from the Resource Usage Patterns of Mobile Apps.

He received his Bachelor degree in Computation Statistics from Institute of Statistics, Jakarta, Indonesia. His bachelor thesis was on Developing Linux Distribution for Migration of National Statistics Agency of Indonesia Computer System from Windows Based to Linux Based. The coursework is a combination of 21 Computer Science courses and 18 Statistics courses.

His research interests are: Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, Security and Privacy, and Mobile Computing.
